Henselt Activities in 2012
October 20th. 2012 under the conductor Vladimir
Kowalenko the Chamber orchestra of Schwabach presented a
programme of music from the Romantic Period. In addition to
music by Schubert, Gluck and Mozart they presented two string
versions of Henselt`s piano music. These were arranged in the
19th. century by Ludwig von Brenner and are available in the
Henselt archive. The pieces chosen were Two Waltzes Op.28 and
the `Ave Maria` Op.5 #4. The latter has received a modern
arrangement by Annette Isserlis (published by `Fountayne
Editions) in memory of the Honorary President Richard Beattie
